The COVID-19 global health crisis has accelerated trends toward digital and remote solutions for patients. Adapting and integrating new digital solutions is critical to getting patients to start and continue novel therapies.

These new technology solutions extend to the ability to merge external data sources together with analytics from the patient support program for enhanced analysis. This is particularly important as we see more outcomes-driven reimbursement models. Technology is also enabling rare disease patients to find communities and support in a way that was not possible before.
