Principles for tailored patient access through an integrated technology approach

Patients and healthcare providers are accustomed to hyper personalized service and support in nearly every area of their lives. But when it comes to healthcare itself, they often face a system that feels fragmented and disjointed. UBC is focused on remedying this for patient access services through technology integration — including digital patient platforms, workflow automation software, and AI and machine learning tools for patient support programs — enabling connected services that provide a highly personalized experience for patients, regardless of where they are in their healthcare journey.

Technology integration can enable better, faster access to treatments, while also providing a number of key benefits, which include:

  • Reducing the administrative burden and accelerating time to start therapy
  • Overcoming clinical concerns patients face as they start and stay on therapy
  • Delivering personalized support through patient-preferred channels, at the right time

UBC’s white paper, Principles for Tailored Patient Access through an Integrated Technology Approach, outlines essential strategies for achieving a high-performing AI- and tech-enabled patient access program. Read to gain invaluable insights into:

  • Understanding the evolving expectations of today’s patients and their need for technological integration
  • Deploying digital tools for strategic healthcare technology integration
  • Leveraging data and healthcare analytics to elevate patient support
