Patient & Physician Services Recognized Again for Excellence in Healthcare Advertising and Marketing

Once again, UBC has been honored by the Healthcare Advertising Awards.
Once again, UBC’s Patient & Physician Services (PPS) Creative Services Department has been recognized for excellence in advertising and marketing for their standout work.

UBC was pleased to once again receive multiple Healthcare Marketing Report’s 37th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards for their exemplary work.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest, and most highly regarded healthcare advertising awards competition. The awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising, and strategic business development.

This year over 4,200 entries were received, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition and one of the ten largest of all advertising awards.  A national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall impact.

UBC was recognized for the following standout work in healthcare advertising and marketing:

  • Gold Award in Rich Media

Pathways Connected Health | Interactive Experience

  • Silver Award in New Media

Some noteworthy competitors included: Takeda, Bayer, Merck, Blue Cross Blue Shield, John Hopkins, MedStar, and Children’s Hospital

According to Nancy Mulligan, Senior Director, Patient & Physician Services (PPS), “This award is like a huge thank you to our entire creative team. These new interactive experiences have brought together every area of our creative department – design, development, animation, and video”.

Using our knowledge of patient recruitment and retention in the clinical trial space, UBC’s Patient & Physician Services Team can produce animated and live-action videos that simplify the clinical trial process, allowing patients to make smarter, more informed decisions and complete all study requirements.

UBC has produced creative materials and multi-media education tools for 350+ clinical and commercial programs worldwide. Our graphic designers, clinicians, and global recruitment and engagement specialists work together to ensure content is appropriate for the intended stakeholder/s (Patient, Caregiver, HCP/Study Coordinator) and meet the regulatory requirements of each country included in the study.

Types of videos UBC has produced include:

• Recruitment videos (Informed Consent, Instructional, Study Overview, and FAQ’s)
• Retention (self-administered drug administration instructional video, diary/patient-reported outcomes completion instructions)
• Site training/informational videos
• Rater Training/Assessment Instructions
• Motivational videos from study Key Opinion Leaders/MSL’s
