UBC recently received an Honorable Mention for DrFirst’s 2022 Healthiverse Heroes Awards. UBC was recognized for our innovative technology integration when enrolling patients into support services. This solution was directly tied to positive patient behavior in adhering to their medication.
By combining our virtual assistant with Dr First, UBC was able to reach every new prescription to begin the enrollment process. Key messages were then sent by the virtual assistant to opted-in patients at critical junctures in order to educate, motivate, and ensure adherence.
UBC’s Vice President of Global Products & Innovation Ron Lacy said “UBC is thrilled to be recognized by Dr First two years in a row. Our design and implementation of technology are always informed by putting Patients First – from clinical trials, to safety and risk management, and patient access services.”
