UBC’s Real World Evidence (RWE) Consulting Practice is a specialized, multidisciplinary team that brings decades of relevant epidemiology, medical, scientific, and data science expertise to our clients to deliver the most efficient approach to demonstrating the efficacy, safety, access, and value of their therapies.

The practice is led by Annette Stemhagen, DrPH, FISPE, and is comprised of epidemiologists, clinicians, statisticians, psychometricians, data scientists, and operational and technology experts representing unparalleled domain expertise and our ability to leverage deep implementation experience.

Our evidence-generation consulting practice is built on a foundation of:

• Bringing an unbiased perspective to each consulting engagement and identifying the optimal solutions across the entire technological and data landscape to meet our clients’ needs.
• Recommending designs and approaches, based on the specific research question(s) to be addressed or problems to be solved, often providing a range of options or scenarios for the client to assess.
